Takis Exhibition
During a three month stay in Barcelona at Epitech Barcelona in partnership with e-artsup, I attended Motion Design courses and worked on a project dedicated to the artist Takis, presented at the MACBA in 2020.
Vassilakis Takis, a Greek sculptor who passed away in 2019, left a mark on contemporary art history with a pioneering body of work combining sculptures, performances, and sound installations. His practice mainly explored electromagnetism, a force that fascinated him throughout his life and that he transformed into unique artistic experiences.
Together with my colleague from e-artsup Lyon, David Grandjean, we designed and produced in one week a motion design piece inspired by Takis artworks, aiming to capture the energy and poetry of his artistic universe.

Concept
The idea was to reinterpret some of Takis works exhibited at the MACBA, as well as the objects and physical forces he used in his sculptures. These elements were animated to convey the energy and poetry of his work.
